Today, former 40-year math teacher Cliff Petrak of Chicago, is going to help us master a multitude of little-known, super-shortcut computational techniques and strategies involving addition, subtraction, fractions, squaring and multiplication that will help bring our calculating methods into the 21st Century and, at the same time, will leave our calculator-dependent friends in the dust! Many of these methods have long been in use in many European and Asian schools while they are rarely found in any American text.
