Mike Winter

Mike has been married to his wife Kim since 1988. They are the parents of ten children and ten+ grandchildren. Mike and Kim have been homeschooling since the early 1990s when they began a homeschool support group in Lansing, MI, that now includes more than 300 families. In 2008, Mike and Kim were appointed the Directors of INCH, Michigan's statewide homeschool association, and in 2018 with the help of a great team, they rebranded the organization under the name MiCHN, to further promote faith, family, and freedom to homeschool in the state of Michigan.
Mike and Kim met while attending Hope College, where he received his BA in Religion. Since college, Mike has worked as an associate pastor, insurance agent, and seven years in marketing management with one of Michigan's largest insurance companies. In 1997 Mike went into vocational ministry with CBMC, an international business and professional men's ministry. Mike invites men to 'huddle' with him daily at the
