Mike Winter
Mike has been married to his wife Kim for 34 years. They are the parents of ten children (ages 12-30) and eight grandchildren- with more eagerly anticipated! Mike met Kim while attending Hope College where he received his BA in Religion. Since college, Mike has worked as an associate pastor, insurance agent, and seven years in marketing management with one of Michigan’s largest insurance companies. For more than twenty-five years now, Mike has worked for CBMC, an international business and professional men’s ministry. Mike invites men to ‘huddle’ with him daily at the knowgodcoach.com.
Mike and Kim (mostly Kim) have been homeschooling for nearly thirty years. They started a homeschool support group, CHESS, in Lansing that now includes more than 300 families. In 2008, Mike and Kim were appointed the Directors of INCH, and in 2018, with the help of a great team, they rebranded the organization under the name MiCHN, to further promote faith, family, and freedom through homeschooling in the state of Michigan.
