Why Your Family (and Our Nation) Needs the
National Homeschool Day of Prayer

Join us Friday, November 7, 2025

We live in challenging times. Our nation has recently experienced great loss. Many state legislatures continue trying to pass laws that could seriously restrict homeschool freedom. And in our own homes, we face daily struggles.

Homeschooling is a noble calling, but it's also one of the most challenging journeys we'll ever take. That's why we need to remember that we were never meant to walk this road alone.

We need each other! And we need to set aside time to pray for each other, our families, and our nation.

Prayer changes things, not just circumstances, but us. It realigns our hearts and reminds us that the Holy Spirit is our ultimate co-teacher. And that God is always on His throne.

1.) Your Private Prayers Matter

Your individual prayers are powerful. Those early morning moments when you pour out your heart about your struggling reader. Those tearful prayers when you wonder if you're messing this up. Those grateful prayers when you witness a breakthrough.

God hears every whispered plea, every desperate cry for wisdom. This is where transformation begins,not in your child's heart, but in yours.

2.) The Strength of Praying Together

Here's what makes the National Homeschool Day of Prayer so special: there's incredible power when God's people pray together.

Jesus said, "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst" (Matthew 18:20). On November 7, thousands of homeschool families will be lifting up the same prayers.

When you feel isolated, corporate prayer connects you to families who understand your struggles and share your victories. Your prayers for homeschool freedom benefit my family. My prayers for wisdom lift up yours. Together, we create a powerful spiritual force.

3.) God Sees You

God sees the late nights of lesson preparation, the sacrifices you make for your children, the character you're building, and the faith you're modeling.

He called you to this, not because you're the most organized or qualified, but because you're exactly the parent your children need. He promises to equip you for everything He's called you to do. He also calls us to pray for each other and our nation.

4. Prayer Changes Lives and Nations

Imagine what could happen if thousands of homeschool families committed to a day of focused prayer. Spiritual breakthroughs. Renewed vision. Restored peace.

Our children are watching us prioritize prayer and learning that God is trustworthy and deeply interested in their lives.

When we pray, individually and together, we invite God into our homeschools, our families, and our futures.
That changes lives and nations!!

So set aside November 7, 2025 as a day to intentionally seek God for your homeschool, your family, and homeschool freedom.

Start with your own heart. Take time for personal prayer. Pour out your concerns, gratitude, needs, and dreams to God.
